Oct 2006 - Mingling Shingling (Iftaari Event)
 

A Mingling Shingling evening (Iftaari Event) was held on Wednesday 11th October in Lahori Karahi Restaurant, Feltham.

The aim was to gather together friends for iftaari, Maghrib prayers and a full three course meal, mixed with a little mingling shingling.

Those present were also invited to make fitrana and zakat donations towards a new Giving Hope funding project in partnership with Muslim Hands International to provide a Water Pump in one of the earthquake-affected areas.

The project aims to provide a water pump supply to be used by 80 families in the village of Jabbray, Dharray Bagh, Azad Jammu Kashmir - one of the areas affected by last year's earthquake.

The evening was a hugh success - we had a full house, in fact we were overbooked and there were still more who wanted to come!

Most importantly, we were successful in exceeding our target and so will be progressing this project to completion - Inshallah.
